Miki'ala Catalfano
Miki'ala Catalfano, a Hāwai’i expat, is the Co-Director at Native Roots Network (NRN). NRN is an Indigenous, community based organization working for over 20 years in far northern, rural California to increase the wellbeing of Indigenous people in our region. Native Roots Network foregrounds and advances Indigenous knowledge "Acornomics" a regenerative, sustainable model of to holistically address the economic, social, and climate crises we face. NRN is planning to construct a community center as a central gathering place with intentions to reweave and strengthen social connectivity during blue skies and to aid the surrounding community during times of emergency.
